FRONTLINE gets "Vision" with Trinigy

Ormond Beach, FL – Aug XX, 2009 – FRONTLINE Studios announced today that they will use Trinigy’s Vision Engine  to support its upcoming action title “ARENA MORTE” for current‚Äêgen platforms. The agreement solidifies FRONTLINE’s commitment to the Vision game engine technology as well as to the continued development of highly advanced multi-platform games.
FRONTLINE’s ARENA MORTE is a third-person perspective fighting game set in a
science fiction world, and features melee combat in the style of medieval tournaments. Players will assume the roles of new world gladiators and compete using a variety of weapons and other deadly martial arts skills.

“We’re thrilled to finally kickoff this project. It’s something the guys have wanted to do for a very long time,” said Marcin Michel, FRONTLINE’s CEO. “Our vision from the very beginning was to utilize mixed martial arts fighting with weapons combat in a
tournament-style structure while giving players realistic environments and experiences they’ve never encountered before. When we first evaluated the Vision Engine, we knew we had found a game engine to help us achieve our goal. Trinigy has created a mature and robust technology that allows us to fast track our development process and frees us to quickly deploy what we build across multiple platforms.”

ARENA MORTE will feature an intuitive auto‚Äêdefense combat system
for parrying opponent’s attacks, a variety of melee weapons and fighting techniques
powered by an advanced animation blending system, as well as strong characterization of in‚Äêgame warriors enriched by c‚ÄêRPG elements.

“We evaluated the Vision Engine technology some time ago, and everybody at FRONTLINE was positively surprised by the well-documented and clear, easy-to-understand code. The set of workflow and runtime tools, as well as the algorithms, are very powerful. We are thrilled to have this opportunity to use Vision Engine for our upcoming multiplatform game,” said Kris Malinski, CTO at FRONTLINE Studios.
“FRONTLINE Studios has consistently proven its ability to develop outstanding software products and tools,” said Dag Frommhold, managing partner at Trinigy. “We’re grateful for the opportunity to support FRONTLINE’s talented team. And we look forward to seeing how far they can push the creative and technical boundaries of game development with the unrestrictive workflow and mature set of tools in the Vision Engine.”
ARENA MORTE has been scheduled for multi‚Äêplatform release in the fall of 2010.
