FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

MAY 4, 2010 – Ormond Beach, FL FRONTLINE Studios announced today that the first of its multiplatform puzzle IP “Gene Labs” is coming to iTunes in 2010 for the iPad and iPhone. The company is targeting Gene Labs for Microsoft’s NATAL and Sony’s MOVE for 2011 as well, sighting a perfect utilization of the to be released motion control systems as well as Stereoscopic 3D. The game’s science themed and endless puzzle structure allows players the ability to strategically think and tactically play with a light story for all ages.

"We a ‘features’ sort of place.” Said Brian Dreyer, FRONTLINE’s Managing Director. “We like to focus on giving players something new to do, given there’s so much recycling going on out there, I mean how many times and ways can you play ‘Defend Your Castle’?”

FRONTLINE is also taking this title to DSiWARE, WiiWARE, as well as Xbox360 and PS3 for their respective motion control add-ons later this year. “The guys have a lot of experience with motion control gameplay”, said Dreyer. “When we looked at these controllers and new systems we didn’t immediately think ‘Wii’ as many obviously have, we thought its real innovation and a chance to do things like stereoscopic 3D and do it right. Gene Labs is more than a new puzzle game it’s a major leap forward for digital distribution in that it really meets all the business requirements in terms of size and playability, it’s a re-think from a psychological perspective on what is instantly attractive, compelling and fun.” Dreyer continued.

FRONTLINE’s Gene Labs is a virtually endless arcade puzzle game set in the world of science and genetic experiments. In Gene Labs the Players will be a young scientist who has discovered a new virus that is capable of genetically changing any living organism. With Player’s help under microscope, the virus is spreading among the cells creating new living forms and modifying existing species. The Player gets a chance to use his invention and skills to build new better species of plants, animals, and ultimately the super soldier. Players are in command and control of defenses and offences with non-scripted tactical strategy play.
