Announcing INTERACTIVE ACADEMY ™
FRONTLINE Studios has announced a new era in fighting genre games with its recently introduced martial arts training video game. The goal of the game is to bring the exciting features of the fighting game genre with real training techniques and content. The “Shaolin Gung Fu” will be the first to be developed game, followed by the series of martial arts training products.
The company emphasized that this is not a typical martial arts oriented fighting video game, but a new form of interactive fight school based on the world’s most popular martial arts training programs. The game will support upcoming Next-Generation controllers, including Xbox 360’s NATAL, new PS3’s motion control, as well as existing Wii Motion Plus from Nintendo.
All the training video games by FRONTLINE Studios, are to be released under one common brand - INTERACTIVE ACADEMY™ that will support the game’s production for authenticity and assist in launching its brand to worldwide markets.
“This is a brand new genre entirely focused on the most powerful, fully accredited and safe martial arts training programs, dedicated for broad audience – literally Everybody!” – said Pawel Sluzynski, Game Designer at FRONTLINE Studios.
“We are extremely excited to finally create the environment, where the Players can freely interact with their virtual teachers, and actually feel that they are doing things right or wrong. The controller-less NATAL is perfect for such an interactive training application as this one.” – said Jacob Goryszewski, CEO of FRONTLINE Poland, Ltd.
FRONTLINE has a formal relationship with several experts in the martial arts world who represent some of the best in the world including World Boxing Champion – Daryl Fromm, and several accredited Shaolin Order expert students.
The first video game will ship through digital distribution only. The retail disc product will be released with new gaming gear that supports the game. FRONTLINE confirmed the first game – “INTERACTIVE ACADEMY™: Shaolin Gung Fu” will be released for holiday of 2010.
